Where Norwegian IPv4 addresses are estimated to be used
IPv4 addresses that DB-IP Lite places in Norway, summed per county. This is a location estimate for address blocks, usually where the provider's equipment is, not where people live.

Ranges DB-IP still labels with a county that was split on 1 January 2024 (Viken, Vestfold og Telemark, Troms og Finnmark) are assigned to today's county only when the town in the same record settles it; the rest are shown under the former name.
How these numbers are made
Registered space is the sum of IPv4 and IPv6 blocks that RIPE NCC's delegation file lists as allocated or assigned to holders in Norway (country code NO). AS numbers are counted the same way. Announced routes come from APNIC's view of the global BGP table: one collector's view, so a route filtered before it reaches that collector is missing. RPKI status is route origin validation (RFC 6811) of each announced prefix and its origin AS against the validated ROAs published by the five RIRs. Registration country is where the holder is registered, not where addresses are used: Norwegian networks also serve customers abroad, and foreign networks serve customers in Norway. Svalbard and Jan Mayen (SJ) and Bouvet Island (BV) have their own country codes and are not counted.
